WORK EXPERIENCE: 

 

2014-2015 - Karrot Animation - 2d Design & Layout

From February 2014, I will be working at Karrot Animation full time as a 2d designer for the childrens TV show Sarah and Duck.

 

2013 - Continued - Part Time Freelance Animator

2013 – Graduate Film SCRAMBLE – Director/ Lead Animator

As a director I was able to bring my vision to life by using my generalist skills to help understand and bring out the full potential of my team mates in their selected roles. (TOONBOOM, TRADITIONAL ANIMATION)

 

2012 – Poole & Purbeck Ad – Director & Character Animator

Directed a small team and helped develop the initial concept for the 2D online advert. As an animator I worked on character design, animation and lip syncing. (FLASH, DIGITAL CUT OUT ANIMATION)

 

2012 – Character Design at Glory & Dream Studios

1 month Internship as a Character Designer at Glory & Dream Digital Studios in China where I learnt about the production process of character development in cartoons. (PHOTOSHOP)

 

2011 – Graduate Film BIRD GIRL – Layout Artists/ Effects Animator

Developed my skills as a layout artist an effects animato, both digitally and traditionally during production.

2010 – Guest Tutor for Animation At Cardinal Pole 6th Form

For two weeks I was requested to tutor Btec students at Cardinal Pole 6th Form on how to animate using Adobe FLASH. This was to help them with their latest unit and promote animation as a viable career path.
